As a Patent Secretary for this top tier law firm, your role will be varied and will encompass secretarial, clerical and administrative functions to support the fee earners. You will ensure a high quality of service is provided to all members of the group.

Your day will comprise of a variety of duties including, preparing documents & drafting correspondence, liaising with Partners, Attorneys and clients, diary management, screening calls, billing and much more. This role will allow you to take on as much as you can handle and in exchange, you will receive the job satisfaction you’ve been craving.

To be successful in this role, you will posses a high level of organisational skills, with the willingness and enthusiasm to take on responsibility.  In addition, you will have solid technical skills and a fast and accurate typing speed.  You will display initiative and decision making skills where appropriate and have the ability to communicate with people at all levels. You will also have at least 3 years patent experience, (preferably in Chem Bio) and have worked within a similar role. A high level of attention to detail, a high level of written and verbal communication skills, proficient typing skills and excellent prioritisation skills are a must!
