An excellent opportunity is available for an IT Help Desk Officer to join this top tier law firm based in the heart of the city.
In this role, you will be required to support the Melbourne office for the delivery of end user and systems operations support. Your position will see you staffing the Help Desk and Systems Operations and you will work on a rotational roster including weekend and after hours support. You must have a strong customer service focus and enjoy providing support. You must also strive to find the best solution for your customers and have the ability to work through problems, in an organised manner.
Whilst working closely with a range of lawyers and legal support staff, your responsibilities will include:
• Attending to hardware troubleshooting and faults, including liaising with suppliers for maintenance
• Installation of new equipment and software
• Undertaking user, desktop, printer and other equipment relocations and reflect changes in appropriate admin systems
• Writing documentation for existing systems, new systems and procedures.
To be considered, you will possess high-level written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal and liaison skills, including the ability to work persuasively and negotiate effectively. You will have the ability to work without close supervision, being proactive and self-starting, originating actions to achieve agreed outcomes and be highly skilled in using and understanding Microsoft products on windows XP.
Ideally, you will have the experience in a similar role and exposure within a corporate environment will be highly regarded. You will have the ability to communicate fluently and be passionate about customer service. If you have all of the above, apply now!
