WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
Our Client is currently looking for a banking and finance lawyer to join their busy team, entering at Associate/Senior Associate level, working under a talented and experienced Partner.
The scope of work will include:
- Private Equity;
- Acquisition Finance;
- General Corporate Finance;
- Debt Restructurings; and
- Project Financing
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
You will have good knowledge of all major aspects of corporate lending, including various forms of debt financing available; different forms of security available; and all related legal issues. In addition you be able to demonstrate understanding of the Corporations Act; regulatory regime; basic revenue issues (including stamp duty and withholding tax); priorities; subordination; trusts; related party transactions; limited recourse; derivatives; due diligence; and insolvency issues.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 Years PAE within a sizeable law firm, as well as a good knowledge of the finance industry, debt capital markets and project financing.
