Commercial Practice & Leadership Opportunity
This is a senior-level opportunity to take a leading role in a growing commercial practice within the Brisbane office.

The practice advises across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, including:
  • Business structuring and asset protection
  • Shareholder and unitholder agreements
  • Business and share sale transactions
  • Corporate governance and compliance
  • Loan and security arrangements
  • Commercial leasing
  • Technology, software, and website agreements
  • General commercial contracts and strategic advisory work
You will work closely with senior leadership to help grow the practice, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s broader commercial strategy. The role combines hands-on legal work with genuine leadership responsibility, including supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives.

About You
You are a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys both technical legal work and client engagement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will ideally have:
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in commercial law
  • Strong experience in transactional and advisory work
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills
  • A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
  • Leadership capability and interest in mentoring junior lawyers
  • A proactive mindset and interest in practice development.
