Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-regarded Queensland law firm within its Corporate Disputes & Litigation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial litigator looking to work on sophisticated matters, gain genuine exposure to clients and senior practitioners, and continue developing their career within a supportive and down-to-earth team.

You’ll work across a diverse and high-quality disputes practice, advising a broad range of clients including national and multinational corporations, SMEs, high-net-worth individuals and government bodies.

Your matters will span:
  • Commercial and corporate disputes
  • Insolvency and shareholder disputes
  • Property and construction disputes
  • Regulatory and compliance matters
  • Stakeholder and contractual disputes
  • Complex commercial litigation
  • Investigations and contentious advisory work
  • Supreme and Federal Court proceedings
  • Complex interlocutory matters
  • Mediations, arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution processes
You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with Partners and experienced disputes practitioners, with direct client exposure and meaningful responsibility from an early stage.

We’re interested in hearing from a Lawyer or Associate with 2+ years’ PAE and a genuine interest in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

You’ll ideally bring:
  • Experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound legal research, drafting and analytical capabilities
  • An interest in developing your advocacy and litigation skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work across complex matters
  • A commercially minded and client-focused approach
  • A collaborative attitude and genuine willingness to contribute to the team
