  • $195K - $250K (SC) or $300K to $750+ (SP) + profit share

With the average age of its Partners in their early 40's, it is a firm with a deep level of technical capability while also being a relatively young and highly collaborative partnership. 

The firm offers the full range of commercial legal solutions and has an excellent reputation for providing superior legal services to their property clients, which range from wealthy private individuals, institutional developers, to state government clients.
As a mid-tier national practice relatively new to Brisbane, this firm has aggressive and strategic growth plans driven by extremely active clients.
The firm is now seeking a talented property lawyer ideally of 10 to 20 years experience to join their highly-regarded practice. You will work with 2 other Property Partners in managing and mentoring a team while jointly managing client relationships across a range of matters:  
  • acquisitions & disposals of commercial properties;
  • community titles work and property development including industrial parks, shopping centres, and residential towers;
  • land resumptions; 
  • negotiation & drafting of ancillary contracts;
  • commercial leasing; and
  • other general commercial property work.
These are extremely active clients which will see your team with no shortage of work and exceeding budget every month. Indicative of the composite skills this firm seeks in a Partner, they expect your business profile will generate additional client activities.

The expectations are genuinely for 10-20 years post-admission experience, a fair portion of which must have been recently obtained within Brisbane in a specialist  firm, a mid-tier, or a large practice where your skills have been allowed to develop in that commercial property stream.
In addition, you will have well-developed team management skills and a high level of commercial acumen and a strong client focus.

This is a lateral appointment into Partnership. A remuneration package at the upper end of the market is expected for the successful candidate and is likely to exceed your expectations. For entry level Partners they offer generous salaries, plus bonuses on reasonable KPI's. For Equity Partners their earnings are in excess of industry benchmarks without the need to compromise on prestige or resources.
