This is a highly regarded pre-eminent national firm in the upper strata of the legal market where the Partners advise on complex infrastructure projects throughout Australia.
Due to sustained growth, the firm is seeking an additional Construction & Major Projects Partner or a Special Counsel ready to step into partnership to join its expanding National Projects & Infrastructure team.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with several market-leading partners on major state government and private sector infrastructure projects throughout Australia.
The Brisbane partners are exceptional technicians in their own respective fields. They are communicative rather than siloed, as well as being collegiate and supportive and will rally at your side.
This role offers significant leadership scope, direct client engagement, and the opportunity to transfer and grow your own practice within a nationally recognised team.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a dynamic individual of 10–25 years PAE in front-end Construction Law / Major Projects with demonstrable expertise in at least two of the following:
- Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs)
- Major transport, energy, health and education infrastructure projects
- Construction contracts and complex project advisory
- Government procurement and tender processes
- Project structuring, delivery models and risk management strategies
In terms of your leadership skills, you will be commercially minded with strong client management skills and a proven ability to mentor and develop teams.
Partnership Pathway & Earnings
The firm offers a clear and transparent equity structure as well as strong operational and business development support, allowing partners to focus on client relationships and practice growth. Your earnings potential is:
- as a Salaried Partner: $450K + performance bonuses
- Junior Equity Partner: $750K+
- Mid-Equity Partner: $1.5M+
- Full Equity Partner: $3.5M++
