WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

Our Client is currently looking for a corporate advisory lawyer to join their busy Corporate Advisory team at the Senior Associate level. Working under four talented Partners, the scope of work will include:
  • Mergers and acquisitions;
  • Capital markets;
  • Joint ventures;
  • Financial services;
  • Equity capital markets;
  • Corporate governance; and
  • Compliance.

 THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

You will have a minimum of 5 years post admission experience and (ideally) have previously held a similar senior position within a leading corporate advisory team either locally or abroad.

In addition, the role requires you to have:
  • knowledge of the Corporations Act (and other relevant legislation, regulatory policy and industry standard); and
  • knowledge of business affairs, equity capital markets, contract law, corporate law and the regulatory regime (in particular, structuring, documenting and closing the transaction).
The successful candidate will also have the ability to coordinate and run a due diligence and be able to take a key supervisory role in major and complex transactions.
