Join one of Australia’s most respected and fastest-growing national law firms, recognised for its excellence, collaborative culture, and strong values-driven approach.

We’re delighted to be partnering with this standout firm to recruit an experienced Health Associate or Senior Associate to join its Brisbane team. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with highly regarded partners in a genuinely supportive, high-performing environment.

The Opportunity
Based in the firm’s brand-new Brisbane CBD office, you’ll be involved in a diverse and sophisticated mix of civil litigation and health law matters, including:
  • Regulatory and disciplinary investigations and hearings (AHPRA, OHO, Coroner)
  • Medical indemnity disputes
  • Professional college and training investigations
  • Private hospital credentialing and accreditation matters
  • Statutory investigations, clinical reviews, and Commissions of Inquiry
  • QCAT and other regulatory proceedings
A key point of difference is that this team operates outside of the firm’s insurance practice, offering a more specialised and focused pathway for those looking to build a long-term career in health law.

You’ll advise a broad client base including leading medical defence organisations, doctors and allied health professionals, private hospitals, and commercial health insurers.

About You
You will bring:
  • 4+ years’ PAE (Associate to Senior Associate level)
  • Experience in health, medical indemnity, professional indemnity, insurance, and/or regulatory matters
  • A genuine interest in developing your career in health law
  • Strong technical ability, paired with a collaborative and proactive mindset
Why This Role Stands Out

The firm offers a clear, merit-based progression pathway without overly hierarchical structures, ensuring your contributions are recognised and your development is actively supported.
Additional benefits include:
  • Flexible working: Hybrid model (3 days in-office, 2 from home), with team-level flexibility
  • Performance bonuses: Transparent and achievable bonus structure
  • Parental leave: 26 weeks’ paid leave after just 6 months’ service
  • Culture: Inclusive, down-to-earth, and social, with wellbeing initiatives, sports clubs, and regular firm events
