Our client, a well established Brisbane based Personal Injuries Practice, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their well respected firm.  This is a great opportunity for a Legal Secretary with an Insurance Litigation background.  We would love to hear from you if you have:
  • A minimum of 2 years' legal secretarial experience;
  • Insurance Litigation background - preferably in Plaintiff Personal Injuries;
  • 60+wpm accurate typing;
  • Strong MS office skills;
  • Good time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and work well in a team.
Supporting a Partner and Junior Solicitor, your duties will include:
  • Dictaphone typing and word processing;
  • Diary management;
  • Opening and closing files;
  • Drafting and preparing correspondence and documentation;
  • Liaising with clients, and other relevant parties;
  • Document management;
  • File and email management;
  • Bring ups;
  • Collating documentation and briefs;
  • Organising meetings and travel;
  • Managing incoming calls and inquiries; and
  • Administrative support.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 2 years legal experience in Insurance Litigation. You are expected to have a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with a strong knowledge of Word and other Microsoft products.  Only candidates with these skills and qualities will be shortlisted, and only shortlisted candidates will be progressed to interview.
