The Opportunity
Joining the Brisbane-based Employment, Workplace Relations & Safety team, you'll work across a broad mix of advisory, litigation and workplace safety matters for an impressive client base.

Your work will include:
  • Advising employers on workplace relations and employment matters
  • Managing matters involving ill and injured workers
  • Providing critical incident response and workplace safety advice
  • Defending prosecutions under workplace health and safety legislation on behalf of clients nationally
  • Representing clients in unfair dismissal, discrimination, adverse action, sexual harassment and breach of contract claims
  • Advising on industrial relations disputes and Right of Entry matters
  • Conducting workplace investigations
  • Delivering training and practical workplace solutions for clients
This role offers excellent variety, meaningful client contact and the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners on challenging and rewarding matters.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
  • 1–3 years' post-admission experience
  • Exposure to Employment, Workplace Relations, Work Health & Safety, Workers' Compensation or Litigation matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A practical and commercial approach to legal issues
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • The confidence to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
