The Opportunity
A leading national commercial law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate-level Planning & Environment lawyer to join its Brisbane team. This specialist practice advises a diverse client base across the private and public sectors (local, state, and federal government) on a broad range of planning, environment, infrastructure, and cultural heritage matters. The team is recognised for its technical excellence, collaborative culture, and strong reputation within the Queensland market. This is an outstanding opportunity for a lawyer who is genuinely passionate about planning and environment law and looking to work closely with highly regarded practitioners in a growing and market-leading team environment.
  
You will gain exposure to:
  • Development strategy and approvals work

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-admission experience in planning and environment law
  • Experience gained within a reputable private practice or government environment
  • Strong interest in Planning & Environment Court and advocacy work
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and client management skills
  • A collaborative mindset with strong initiative and commercial awareness
  • Drive, integrity, efficiency, and a genuine passion for this area of law.
