The Brisbane office of a leading international insurance firm is expanding and is seeking a Lawyer or Associate to join its highly regarded liability team.

This role offers a unique combination of high-quality insurance work and genuine flexibility, with some of the most adaptable working arrangements in the market. You’ll have the ability to work from home multiple days per week or from their Brisbane CBD office.

The Role
You will work closely within a specialist liability practice, acting for a broad range of insurers, corporates and self-insured clients across complex and high-value disputes.

Your work will include:
  • Public and product liability matters across a range of industries including construction, retail, sport and leisure
  • Personal injury and occupier’s liability claims, including industrial accident matters
  • Acting for multinational and London market insurers, underwriting agencies and self-insured corporates
  • Managing complex, multi-party litigation and advising on liability, quantum and strategy
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to technically challenging matters, strong client contact and the opportunity to take ownership of files while contributing to broader litigation strategy.

About You
  • 2+ years’ PAE in defendant insurance
  • Experience across liability and defendant personal injury
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • A collaborative approach and ability to manage files autonomously
  • Lawyers and Associates encouraged to apply
