A rare opportunity has arisen for a senior Workplace Relations Employment & Safety practitioner to join a nationally recognised practice in a leadership capacity.
This role offers exposure to sophisticated advisory and contentious matters across the full employment lifecycle, acting for a broad commercial client base on complex workplace, industrial relations, and WH&S matters.
Areas of practice include:
- Executive employment structuring and tailored contractual arrangements
- Strategic management and enforcement of restraints and post-employment obligations
- Representation in unfair dismissal, adverse action, and general protections disputes
- Enterprise bargaining strategy and complex industrial negotiations
- Workplace disputes, conduct management, and disciplinary matters
- Sensitive investigations involving bullying, harassment, and discrimination
- WHS advisory, governance oversight, and response to critical incidents
You are an established senior lawyer or existing Partner with the commercial capability and leadership presence to continue growing a sophisticated E&WR practice.
You will likely offer:
- 10+ years’ PAE in Employment, Industrial Relations and/or WHS
- Experience gained within a leading national, respected mid-tier, or specialist employment practice
- Strong client relationship management and business development capability
- A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to delivering client outcomes
- The confidence and credibility to lead both clients and internal teams
- Integration into a respected national WRE&S network
- Strong cross-practice referral pathways and collaborative culture
