The Opportunity

A rare opportunity has arisen for a senior Workplace Relations Employment & Safety practitioner to join a nationally recognised practice in a leadership capacity.

This role offers exposure to sophisticated advisory and contentious matters across the full employment lifecycle, acting for a broad commercial client base on complex workplace, industrial relations, and WH&S matters.

Areas of practice include:
  • Executive employment structuring and tailored contractual arrangements
  • Strategic management and enforcement of restraints and post-employment obligations
  • Representation in unfair dismissal, adverse action, and general protections disputes
  • Enterprise bargaining strategy and complex industrial negotiations
  • Workplace disputes, conduct management, and disciplinary matters
  • Sensitive investigations involving bullying, harassment, and discrimination
  • WHS advisory, governance oversight, and response to critical incidents
About You

You are an established senior lawyer or existing Partner with the commercial capability and leadership presence to continue growing a sophisticated E&WR practice.

You will likely offer:
  • 10+ years’ PAE in Employment, Industrial Relations and/or WHS
  • Experience gained within a leading national, respected mid-tier, or specialist employment practice
  • Strong client relationship management and business development capability
  • A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to delivering client outcomes
  • The confidence and credibility to lead both clients and internal teams
