About the Role
As an Associate in this sought-after practice, you will:
- Provide strategic IR advice, including enterprise bargaining, union relations, and compliance.
- Advise on employment matters such as workplace policies, discrimination, dismissals and complex HR issues.
- Represent clients in litigation, including restraint of trade, underpayment disputes, and confidentiality breaches.
- Assist employers with workplace safety, offering advice and training on compliance, incident prevention, and management.
About You
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- A minimum of 4 years of post-admission experience in employment law, IR, or safety.
- Previous experience at a mid or top-tier law firm, demonstrating strong technical skills and exposure to high-quality matters.
- A solution-driven approach and the ability to manage client matters independently while mentoring junior lawyers.
- Experience advising clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors is highly regarded but not essential.
