One of Queensland's most respected commercial law practices, with a team of 200+ professionals in Brisbane, is seeking a mid-level construction lawyer to join their thriving team. You'll play an integral role in front-end projects matters while benefiting from the guidance of industry-recognised partners and a highly collaborative team environment.

This position offers an exceptional variety of work spanning both smaller developments and landmark, multi-million dollar construction and infrastructure projects. You'll collaborate with an impressive client portfolio including:
  • Property developers and institutional investors
  • Major asset owners and property trusts
  • Leading contractors and subcontractors
Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting and negotiating complex contracts (ECI/EPC agreements)
  • Preparing comprehensive tender submissions
  • Structuring funding agreements
  • Providing strategic project planning advice
  • Developing consultancy agreements
There is also the opportunity to gain valuable additional experience by assisting the disputes team with litigation matters, providing complete project lifecycle exposure.

To thrive in this position, we're looking for:
  • 3-7 years' PAE in front-end construction/projects
  • Strong contract drafting/negotiation skills
  • Solid construction law knowledge
While not essential, experience with infrastructure agreements would be particularly valuable and well-regarded.
