This position offers the opportunity to work on substantial and complex property matters with a diverse mix of clients from major developers and national landlords to corporate tenants and investors. You’ll have a seat at the table on major capital transactions, property development projects, and large-scale leasing portfolios.
Your day will include:
- Advising on significant property acquisitions, disposals, and developments.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating retail, commercial, and industrial leases.
- Structuring titles and preparing development and construction contracts.
- Conducting due diligence for large property transactions.
- Providing strategic advice on risk, compliance, and planning issues.
- Leading transactions through PEXA.
- Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development.
We are seeking a high-performing Associate or Senior Associate (5+ post-admission experience) in commercial property law. You will confidently manage matters with Partner oversight, take responsibility for a diverse range of property transactions, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate effectively within a high-performing team.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development matters.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and technical skills, including PEXA transactions.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
- A commercially minded, solutions-focused approach.
