About the Role
This opportunity is with a large national law firm with multiple offices across Australia and a strong reputation for technical expertise and client-focused service.

You’ll be working directly with experienced Workplace Partners in a high-energy team that provides independence with a safety net and fosters a collegial, collaborative culture. Lawyers with a similar mindset - those who don’t take themselves too seriously but are committed to delivering high-quality work are encouraged to apply.

Every day will be different, working across a range of matters including:
  • Workplace incidents
  • Regulatory investigations
  • Employment disputes
  • Safety matters
  • Industrial relations issues
  • Complex investigations including bullying, discrimination, sexual harassment, and whistleblower matters
This is a unique chance to work across multiple jurisdictions and engage in diverse workplace-related tasks without being confined to a single area. You’ll collaborate nationally across practice groups, supported by a team of associates, junior lawyers, and paralegals, and benefit from direct client exposure including private and government clients. Secondment opportunities are also available to broaden your experience.

About You
We are looking for Lawyers or Associates with at least 2 years’ post-admission experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in employment and/or safety law, with strong academic credentials and solid knowledge of workplace laws (Fair Work Act, WHS, discrimination, bullying, harassment).

Experience handling employer-side matters such as disciplinary issues, grievances, code of conduct breaches, safety incidents, and drafting liability or prospects advice is highly regarded. Advocacy experience or interest is a plus, though candidates with front-end experience only are also encouraged to apply.
