What is the Role?
This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Lawyer or Associate who enjoys hands-on client work, varied matters and working closely with experienced senior practitioners. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of employment, industrial relations, and work health & safety matters, often engaging directly with senior management, HR teams, and in-house legal teams.
Your matters may include:
- Employment claims, workplace investigations, and employee management
- Contract reviews, compliance, and post-employment restraints
- Award interpretation and underpayment issues
- Strategic IR advice, enterprise bargaining, and union engagement
- Right of entry and dispute management
- WHS incident response, enforcement matters, investigations, and workers’ compensation.
Clients
The team works with a broad range of organisations across Australia and internationally, including listed companies, multinational corporations and SMEs. You’ll often liaise with senior management, in-house legal teams, and global counterparts, providing exposure to high-level strategic matters while also supporting smaller national businesses.
Who We’re Looking For?
You’ll be a confident and client-focused employment lawyer who enjoys both autonomy and teamwork. Ideally, you will:
- Have minimum 1 years PAE in employment law (IR/WHS experience an advantage)
- Demonstrate strong technical, drafting, and analytical skills
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Thrive in a supportive and high-performing team environment.
