THE ROLE
This opportunity is ideally suited to a lawyer already operating at Senior Associate level who is looking to further consolidate their expertise within a high-performing and well-supported national practice. Your work will span:
- Employment advisory and workforce strategy
- Enterprise bargaining and industrial relations
- Workplace safety and investigations
- Discrimination, bullying and harassment matters
- Executive employment and restraint issues
- Compliance programs and regulatory response
- Litigation across tribunals, commissions and courts.
THE TEAM & CLIENT BASE
The practice is well-regarded for its pragmatic approach and sophisticated client relationships. Clients include:
- ASX-listed corporates and global enterprises
- Government departments and statutory bodies
- Education and health entities
- Private employers in growth industries
- The work is varied, strategic and often high-profile within the employment landscape.
To be competitive for this role, you will ideally bring:
- 2–3 years’ post-promotion experience at Senior Associate level
- Proven expertise in employment and industrial matters
- Demonstrated capability running matters and managing key stakeholders
- Strong advisory, drafting and written communication skills
- Commercial judgement and problem-solving focus
- Interest in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers
- A proactive and collaborative working style
- Safety experience is advantageous but not essential - the firm will support further development in this area for the right candidate
