Join one of Australia’s most highly regarded and fastest-growing national law firms, home to thousands of professionals and known for its excellence, collaboration, and integrity.

We are proud to partner with this outstanding firm to recruit an experienced Health Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its Brisbane practice. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with industry-leading partners in a high-performing team that is genuinely supportive and collegiate.

The Opportunity
Based in the firm’s brand new Brisbane CBD office, you’ll work on some of Australia’s most complex, high-value civil litigation and health law matters, including:
  • Regulatory and disciplinary investigations and hearings (AHPRA, OHO, Coroner)
  • Medical indemnity disputes
  • Professional college and training investigations
  • Private hospital credentialing and accreditation disputes
  • Statutory investigations, clinical reviews, and Commissions of Inquiry
  • QCAT and other regulatory proceedings
Notably, this team sits outside the firm’s insurance practice, which is a unique and attractive feature for lawyers looking to specialise in health law.

You’ll provide end-to-end advice to leading medical defence organisations, doctors and allied health professionals, commercial health insurers, and major private hospitals and health providers.

About You
We’re seeking a lawyer who brings:
  • 5+ years’ PAE (Senior Associate level ideal; Special Counsel considered)
  • Experience across health, medical indemnity, professional indemnity, insurance, and/or regulatory matters
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in health law
  • Strong technical skills paired with a collaborative and proactive approach

  • Bonus Structure: Transparent, performance-based bonuses
  • Parental Leave: 26 weeks’ paid leave after just 6 months’ service
