The Role
Reporting to a highly supportive General Counsel, you will work alongside a team of several lawyers supported by a Legal Assistant and Paralegal. The team advises on a diverse range of matters, and your work may include:
- Commercial contracts (supply, procurement and general advisory)
- Regulatory matters
- Policy development (including privacy, modern slavery and other frameworks)
- Compliance reporting to internal stakeholders, including to the global parent company
- Property matters
- FIRB compliance
- Insurance matters
- Maintaining and updating a contracts register
- Opportunity to support major projects led by the General Counsel
- Litigation involving the organisation
- Corporate M&A work
- Delivering training to operational teams (including sales and marketing) on compliance topics

- You're an admitted lawyer with a current Queensland practising certificate
