THE ROLE:
As part of a tight-knit legal team this role will see you working closely and collaboratively with the General Counsel on a range of legal matters including:
- Corporate Advisory | M&A;
- Competition Law;
- Corporate Governance; as well as some
- Commercial Contracts and Procurement.
To be successful in securing an interview for this role, you will ...
- Be admitted as a Solicitor in any Australian jurisdiction and have a current unrestricted practising certificate.
- Be currently living in or looking to relocate to Brisbane (as 100% interstate working is not an option for this one due to the requirements of the role).
- Have 2-7 years post admission experience, ideally within a mid or top tier firm, or an in-house environment where you have predominately practised in the Corporate Commercial streams of practice (having some M&A experience is desirable but not essential).
- Be an Australian citizen or have the right to work in Australia.
- Have a proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Have well-developed problem solving and decision making skills.
- Have an ability to influence in an informative and intelligible manner; and
- Have an innovative approach.
