THE ROLE:

As part of a tight-knit legal team this role will see you working closely and collaboratively with the General Counsel on a range of legal matters including: 
  • Corporate Advisory | M&A;
  • Competition Law;
  • Corporate Governance; as well as some
  • Commercial Contracts and Procurement.
ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in securing an interview for this role, you will ... 
  • Be admitted as a Solicitor in any Australian jurisdiction and have a current unrestricted practising certificate.
  • Be currently living in or looking to relocate to Brisbane (as 100% interstate working is not an option for this one due to the requirements of the role).
  • Have 2-7 years post admission experience, ideally within a mid or top tier firm, or an in-house environment where you have predominately practised in the Corporate Commercial streams of practice (having some M&A experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Be an Australian citizen or have the right to work in Australia.
  • Have a proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Have well-developed problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Have an ability to influence in an informative and intelligible manner; and
  • Have an innovative approach.
