You will work alongside senior practitioners who have led landmark industrial manslaughter prosecutions and advised on major state-wide compliance projects. The team is highly collaborative, supportive, and known for a strong mentoring culture and good work-life balance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on incident response, enforcement notices, and regulatory engagement
- Conducting WHS prosecutions, including indictable offences and reckless conduct
- Providing strategic advice on safety and compliance matters
- Acting for regulators, government bodies, and select private clients
- Preparing for and appearing in coronial inquests and jury trials.
- Associate-level lawyer with a strong focus on WHS and regulatory law
- Comfortable managing complex files and working under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills
- Experience with prosecutions, inquests, or complex advisory matters is highly regarded.
