A highly respected specialist property and development law firm in Brisbane is expanding its team to meet growing demand from key clients with significant budgets for large-scale development and strata titling work.
This is a rare opportunity to join a practice delivering high-value and complex matters, including:
- Strata and volumetric titling, flat-land subdivisions, share-sale restructuring, put & call options, and commercial agreements
- Large commercial and retail property acquisitions, sales, and due diligence
- Planning, zoning, structuring, titling, and compliance advice
- Major retail and commercial leasing matters, including agreements for lease, complex variations, and renewals
- Contract negotiation, settlements, and client advisory work
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and paralegals, with the opportunity to shape the firm’s growing team and client offering.
You will be operating at Senior Associate level or above and possess:
- PQE in property development, strata/volumetric titling, and large commercial transactions
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, commercially-focused advice
- Experience in mid-or top-tier firms, possibly seeking a more balanced, ego-free environment
- An established client base is welcomed but not essential
- Interest in doing excellent work for clients without partner-level politics or marketing pressures
- Comfort leading and mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals.
