This role offers the opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of major projects, including:
- Structuring and procurement of major infrastructure and construction projects
- Drafting and negotiating sophisticated construction and project agreements
- Advising on procurement strategies and risk allocation
- Contract administration and probity matters
- Transport & Infrastructure - Roads, rail, ports and airports
- Energy & Resources - Mining infrastructure, Carbon and renewable energy projects including wind, battery and solar farms
- Public Infrastructure & Utilities - Water and waste projects and Education facilities
In this role, you will work closely with clients and, even at a junior level, begin building strong relationships with key stakeholders shaping Queensland’s infrastructure and energy landscape, including government departments, local councils, developers, universities, contractors and financiers.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 1+ years PAE in construction, projects or infrastructure law
- Experience drafting and reviewing construction or project agreements and negotiating contract terms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and solid academic results
