Law Staff is proud to partner with a leading international law firm to recruit a Defendant Insurance Lawyer or Associate for its expanding Brisbane practice.

The Role
Working closely with a highly regarded Partner and a supportive, collaborative team, you will be involved in a diverse and engaging mix of defendant insurance matters, including:
  • Catastrophic Liability: High-value, complex large-loss claims
  • Public Liability: Managing substantial PIPA matters
  • Contribution & Recovery: Multi-party contribution and recovery claims
  • Casualty & Injury: Advising across a broad range of casualty matters
The team is recognised for its expertise in handling complex, multi-party and multi-jurisdictional litigation, leveraging both strong local capability and a truly global platform.

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • 1–4 years’ PAE in defendant insurance
  • Strong technical skills and sound commercial judgement
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
  • A genuine interest in building your career within a global firm environment
