Due to a steady increase in work, this national firm of over 500 staff is looking to add an experienced lawyer to its Brisbane insurance team.

The Role
You will work across a range of defendant insurance matters, with a particular focus on property damage claims, while also gaining exposure to broader public liability and general insurance disputes.

The role will involve handling significant matters in the District, Supreme and High Courts across Queensland and other jurisdictions.

Working within a respected insurance practice, you will act for a diverse client base while also supporting the development of junior lawyers within the team.
  About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
  • 5+ years PAE
  • Experience in the defendant insurance space
  • Exposure to property damage claims is ideal
  • Experience mentoring and delegating work to junior lawyers
  • Strong litigation and client management skills
