The Role
This position offers a varied mix of insurance litigation and regulatory work, with a strong focus on health, public and product liability matters.
You will also gain experience across:
  • Acting for insurers and a broad range of health professionals in the defence of civil liability claims
  • Advising and representing practitioners in investigations by regulators such as AHPRA, the Office of the Health Ombudsman and Medicare
  • Defending disciplinary proceedings before professional boards and tribunals
The team acts for major underwriters and large corporates across the Australian, Asian and London markets, offering exposure to complex matters and international clients.

Even at a junior level, you will enjoy early client contact, hands-on involvement in matters and the autonomy to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

You will work closely with a highly regarded and award-winning Partner recognised by Best Lawyers Australia and Doyle’s Guide for expertise in insurance law.

About You
You will ideally have:
  • 2+ years PAE as a Lawyer or Associate in defendant insurance law
  • Senior Associates may also be considered
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in insurance litigation
