The Role
This opportunity suits a junior to intermediate Employment Lawyer or Associate who enjoys hands-on client work, exposure to varied and complex matters, and working closely with highly experienced senior practitioners.
Your work will include:
- Employment claims, workplace investigations and employee management matters
- Employment contracts, policy reviews, compliance and post-employment restraints
- Award interpretation and underpayment issues
- Strategic IR advice, enterprise bargaining and union engagement
- Right of entry matters and dispute management
- WHS incident response, investigations, enforcement action and workers’ compensation matters
Clients You will work with a broad and impressive client base across Australia and internationally, including listed entities, multinational organisations and SMEs. The role offers exposure to both high-level strategic advice and practical, day-to-day advisory work, providing excellent breadth of experience.
About You
You will be a confident, motivated and client-focused lawyer who enjoys both autonomy and collaboration. Ideally, you will have:
- A minimum of 1 year PAE in employment law (IR/WHS experience advantageous)
- Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and a practical approach to client service
- The ability to thrive in a supportive, high-performing team environment
