An opportunity has opened for a senior practitioner to join a nationally recognised Employment & Workplace Relations practice in a leadership capacity. This position combines high-level advisory work with significant contentious matters, spanning the full employment lifecycle, including:
- Executive employment structuring and tailored contractual arrangements
- Strategic management and enforcement of restraint and post-employment obligations
- Representation in unfair dismissal and general protections matters under the Fair Work framework
- Enterprise bargaining strategy and complex industrial negotiations
- Workplace disputes, conduct issues, and disciplinary risk management
- Sensitive investigations involving bullying, harassment, and discrimination
- WHS advisory, governance oversight, and response to critical incidents
Your Background
You are an established senior lawyer with the commercial acumen and presence to lead, including:
- 10+ years’ post-admission experience in employment, industrial relations, and/or WHS
- Background from a leading national firm, respected mid-tier, or specialist practice
- Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain strong client relationships
- Leadership capability, with a reputation for delivering pragmatic, business-focused outcomes
