Based in the vibrant Brisbane CBD office, the successful candidate will handle some of Australia's most complex medical indemnity claims and health liability matters, including:
  • Defending personal injury and negligence claims
  • Disciplinary actions (including Medicare)
  • Public Liability matters
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries
  • OHO, AHPRA and the Coroner investigations
You will support major health organisations, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals across all court jurisdictions - from Local/Magistrates' Courts through to Supreme Court matters.

You'll collaborate directly with a distinguished Principals, recognised as a leading practitioner in health law and medical negligence. This mentorship opportunity comes with genuine career progression pathways in a firm that invests in your growth.

We're looking for:
  • 2+ years PAE in insurance law, either at Lawyer or Associate level
  • Demonstrated experience in health claims, PIPA matters  and/or professional indemnity
  • Genuine Interest to specialise in this space
  • Lawyers with up to 5 years PAE are encouraged to apply.
