  • In-House Legal Director
  • Prominent Organisation
  • Massive Captive Clientele
  • CBD Fringe Location
  • Workplace Flexibility (Office + Remote)
THE ORGANISATION:

This is an impressive member organisation with more than 20,000 clients nationally across key industry sectors. It provides legal and general support to these members, as a place of strength, connection, and shared purpose.

The culture and service approach is one of solidarity, reflecting the belief that progress is built together, not alone. It's an organisation where voices are heard, ideas are shaped, and members find guidance, resources, and encouragement.

Experienced advocates work alongside clients, sharing knowledge and building confidence. Conversations flow easily, grounded in mutual respect and a shared commitment to fairness and dignity. Every interaction reinforces the understanding that challenges are easier to face when support is close at hand.

The organisation also radiates optimism. It celebrates small victories while keeping its eyes on long-term goals, reminding everyone involved that meaningful change is possible. By fostering collaboration and empowering individuals, it transforms concern into action and hope into momentum.

At its heart, it exists to lift people up, strengthen communities, and create a future shaped by cooperation, resilience, and positive change.

THE ROLE:

As the Legal Director, you will take primary responsibility for providing preliminary legal advice to members as well as having full carriage of plaintiff personal injuries files across:
  • Statutory workers compensation claims
  • WorkCover claims
  • Psychiatric Injuries
  • Public Liability
Should you have an interest, you may also be exposed to Employment Law as well as WH&S matters while supervising and mentoring several junior lawyers and paralegals.

YOU:

To be successful in securing this role, you will be a lawyer of 5+ years post-admission in Australia, though there will be no upper limit to this. You may well have supplementary experience in other areas of law (such as employment and commercial law) however your primary experience must be in plaintiff personal injuries as a mandatory prerequisite.

As a benchmark of responsibility, this organisation would like you to have completed the Practice Management Course, or at the very least you will be prepared to undertake this 30-35 hour course at the company's expense.

On a daily basis, you will revel working with a senior leadership team who are, by nature, collaborative and highly intelligent, empowering you with responsibility in keeping with your professional appetite, as well as rewarding you for your achievements.

If you’re a personal injuries litigation lawyer ready to work on challenging matters for appreciative clients, this is your opportunity to join an organisation that values innovation and professional growth.

REM & BENEFITS:

Remuneration is very attractive and negotiable with $225,000 - $250,000 to be used as a guide. In addition, you will receive a market-leading 30% profit share for your efforts.

A car park is also offered at no expense to you.

You will struggle to find a more rewarding compensation package for a similar role.

In the first month or two, working from the office is preferred for the building of internal relationships and mentoring purposes, yet beyond this the workplace flexibility is negotiable depending on the individual's needs (i.e. 4+1 or 3+2 basis).
