What They Offer
  • Flexible Working Options – Hybrid arrangements designed to support study, family commitments, and better work–life balance.

  • Structured Career Development – Clear L&D pathways, meaningful mentoring, and study support to elevate your career.
  • A Fun, Inclusive Culture – Weekly morning teas, karaoke nights, wine tastings, dress-up days, fun runs, and social sports (netball, cricket and more).
  • Community Impact – Workplace giving programs and community initiatives that make a real difference.
  • Recognition & Reward – Bonus programs, milestone celebrations, and referral incentives.
  • Authentic Diversity & Inclusion – Active subcommittees for Pride, Women, Cultural Diversity, and Ability & Wellbeing.
The Opportunity

Join a respected national practice delivering sophisticated work across high-profile and complex matters. This is an exceptional chance to be part of a Planning & Environment team that works on some of Queensland’s most interesting projects, from approvals and litigation to remediation and environmental risk. You’ll collaborate across practice areas, and work closely with a senior leader who is well known in the field.

Client work spans: energy and resources, major developers, government, manufacturers, and large-scale infrastructure providers. You’ll enjoy genuine autonomy along with the support of a mentor who values collaboration and growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Preparing and managing development applications, permits and approvals
  • Advising on environmental compliance and regulatory frameworks
  • Running planning and environmental disputes
  • Managing environmental incidents and enforcement issues
  • Advising on environmental liability and insurance coverage
  • Handling risk management, decommissioning and rehabilitation issues
  • Assisting with valuation objections, resumptions and compensation claims
You’ll have space to run your own files, contribute to strategic decisions, and deepen your experience across both front-end and contentious matters.

About You
You will ideally have:
  • 4+ years’ P&E experience (Associate or Senior Associate level)
  • Strong technical capability and sound commercial judgement
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for delivering practical, client-focused legal solutions
