What is the Work Mix?
This is a rare role where you can go to work every day doing something different. It has a varied and interesting work-mix where you will be exposed to corporate and commercial matters across a diverse range of areas, including:
  • Construction, infrastructure and other major projects
  • Property Law 
  • Corporate and Commercial Contract negotiation, drafting and management
  • Procurement policy, procedure and policy
  • Corporate governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Joint venture advisory
  • Health law matters
  • Public and Administrative law
Additionally, there might be exposure to Intellectual Property, Workplace Industrial Relations, and Litigation in courts and tribunals, providing you a role filled with variety.
  
What You Need to Succeed?
To secure an interview for this role, you will ...
  • Have between 5 and 10 years PAE
  • Front-end advisory experience in construction, property, corporate and commercial contracts and procurement
  • QITC (or the superseded GITC) experience is favourable but not necessary
  • You may currently be working in-house, in government or at a national firm.
  • Be admitted as a Solicitor in any Australian jurisdiction and have a current unrestricted practising certificate
  • Be open to an initial 12 month contract - with the view to extension and permanency.
