What You’ll Be Doing
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, and workforce policies
- Handling claims including unfair dismissal, discrimination, sexual harassment, general protections, and breach of contract
- Advising on performance management, disciplinary processes, and navigating Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Providing guidance on sham contracting, underpayment issues, and labour hire licensing compliance
- Leading workplace investigations and conducting workforce health checks
- Representing clients before State and Federal courts, commissions, and tribunals.
About You
- 10+ years PAE in workplace and employment law, ideally with a mix of advisory and contentious experience
- Strong technical skills coupled with practical commercial judgment
- Comfortable managing client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers
- Enthusiastic about contributing to a positive team environment and firm culture.
