Looking to advance your Commercial Litigation career in Brisbane? Your search ends here!
This role is a rare gem within a litigation team that I rarely have the opportunity to recruit for due to the stability of the team. Below is the Who, What, Where, Why and How of this role!
 WHO?
We're seeking an enthusiastic lawyer with a minimum of 4 years of PAE, ideally from a mid-tier or top-tier background. You will have worked in a commercial litigation team and have exposure to a fair portion of the fields mentioned. If you have worked in a specialist litigation firm and looking to move to a larger firm environment you are also encouraged to apply.
 WHAT?
Collaborate with a large team of litigators under the guidance of 2 esteemed and highly awarded partners, managing a diverse range of client matters, including:
  • Corporations Act matters;
  • Contractual and commercial disputes;
  • Shareholder and partnership disputes;
  • White-collar crime;
  • Intellectual property and trademark disputes;
  • Mining litigation;
  • Property and leasing disputes;
  • Regulatory investigations;
  • Administrative law;
  • Corporate insolvency and recoveries litigation;
  • Information technology and intellectual property;
  • Alternative dispute resolution.
️ WHERE?
Become part of a prominent mid-tier national Australian law firm celebrated for its stellar reputation. This esteemed firm offers exceptional training, mentorship, and a favourable work-life balance, contributing to an impressive employee retention rate in the Brisy office. Recognising the valuable contributions of its employees, they ensure recognition and rewards are well-deserved.
 WHY?
Prioritising employee well-being, this firm offers an extensive health and well-being program, generous parental leave, various social activities, a commendable mentoring program, study assistance, and staff discounts. Their commitment to staff welfare is evident through meticulous planning and thoughtful provisions so people don’t leave – we hardly get the pleasure of recruiting for this team.
Moreover, while immediate progression may not be at the forefront of your mind, significant advancement opportunities exist at all levels in the long run. The firm prioritises merit-based promotions, offering genuine pathways to partnership for ambitious individuals.
We've notice that lawyers sometimes wait until after EOFY to apply for new roles, but this delay can work against you. By submitting your applications now, you'll get ahead of the rush and avoid competing with other similar candidates.
 HOW?
We provide the flexibility of conducting interviews either in person or virtually. You can choose between a one-on-one session or a multiparty meeting via FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, or telephone, ensuring that you can comfortably showcase your skills and discuss your prerequisites for the desired role. We prioritise transparency and, by the end of the meeting, you will receive a comprehensive profile outlining these opportunities and more. This will allow you to research and explore them at your convenience.
